Check Spelling
| There are several ways to check
your spelling in FrontPage 2000.
By default, FrontPage 2000 will put a wavy red line under all your spelling errors as you type. When this feature is working, you can right click on the underlined word to bring up a pop-up menu with suggested corrections.

| To turn off this feature, choose
Tools, Page Options from the menu bar.
The Page Options dialog box will appear. |

| On the General tab, check
Hide spelling errors in all documents.
Click on OK. |

There are several ways to
initiate a spell check of an entire document:

| When FrontPage 2000 finds
a word in your web page that it does not recognize, it displays the
word in the Not in Dictionary box. Then FrontPage offers
you a best guess of what the word should be, and a list of further suggestions.
If the highlighted word in the Change to box is correct, click on Change. If one of the words in the Suggestions box is correct, click on that suggestion to bring it up to the Change to box and click on Change. If your word is properly spelled you can click on Ignore to have FrontPage ignore the word, Ignore All to have FrontPage pass over any additional uses of the word in the web page, or Add to add the word to your dictionary. |
