| You can customize your Dreamweaver
workspace in a number of ways.
Whatever you do to the Dreamweaver screen, your changes will remain. When you open Dreamweaver again, your screen will look the way you left it. |

If you can't find a toolbar:

Dreamweaver's floating windows
are of two types:
|
||||
| You can close the floating windows
that display the various panels and inspectors. To close a floating
window, click on the x in the colored
panel at the top or left of the window
You can rearrange the windows on the screen by grabbing the colored panel on the top or the left and dragging it to a new location. |

|
If you want to restore a window or you can't find a window:
|
||||
|

||||
You can choose to view your
web page in design view or in code view or both
|
||||
| You can modify your view by choosing
View from the menu bar and checking Code, Design, or Code
and Design
You can also switch views with the buttons on the far left of the toolbar |

| There are many other adjustments
you can make to your Dreamweaver work space.
