Create a Jump Menu
| You may want to offer your visitor
a list of pages to visit within your site. To conserve space on
your page, you might want to put these links in a jump menu.
A jump menu is a drop-down menu that consists of a series of links to other pages. |
You can create a jump menu with or without the Go button. Without the Go button, users will jump to the new page as soon as they click on their choice. With the Go button, users will make a selection and then click on Go to jump to the new page. |
| To add a jump to your web page using Dreamweaver, you can choose Insert, Form Objects, Jump Menu from the main menu. | ||
| You can also click on the Insert Jump Menu button on the Forms Object Panel. |
| Oftentimes an image you select from a web page or a clip
art file will have a white background.
When you place such an image on a web page that already uses a colored background, the white background detracts from the image. |
