Change Text Style

You control the look of particular sections of type on your web page with the <FONT></FONT> tag pair and its attributes.
The type face is the shape of the type (e.g., Arial, Times Roman, Helvetica).

Note that the viewer’s browser must support your chosen typeface; otherwise the browser will revert to its default typeface.

Remember that the only way to permanently ensure the look of your typeface is to create a graphic file.

To change the face of type use the FACE attribute with the FONT tag.

Use the Tag List to add the   <FONT></FONT> tag pair and its attributes to text of your choice.

Select a standard face so the majority of browsers can display it.

Add a second face to give the browser an option.

Note: See Start: Tour HomeSite 1.2 for a review of the ways to insert tags and attributes into your document.
