Turn an Image into a Link

It's easy to turn an image into a hyperlink to another file.

Use the <A> tag as you would for any hyperlink. Put the <IMG SRC> tag in the location where the clickable text would ordinarily go.

Example Click on the arrow to return to the previous lesson.Back

The HTML for the above sentence would be:

Click on the arrow to return to the previous lesson. <A HREF="images3.htm"><IMG SRC="images/back.gif" WIDTH=36 HEIGHT=23 BORDER=0 ALT= Back></A>
