Forms: HomeSite 1.2
Create the Reset and Submit Buttons

The Reset Button

The Submit Button

After you have created your form, you are ready to design the form itself.

Remember that you create a form field with the <FORM></FORM> tag pair.

Within the <FORM> tags will go the entire form, i.e. both the questions you ask and the form elements, i., e., the  box and button spaces where the user will supply responses.

To create a form element in HomeSite, use the Advanced tab on the speedbar.
Advanced tab
At the end of the form you will want to give users an opportunity to erase their answers and start all over again.  To do so you add a reset button to the bottom of your form.

Finally, you must give users a button to use when they want to submit their form to you.  To do so, you add a submit button to the bottom of your form.

Remember that these two buttons are also form elements and thus must be placed within the form box.

The Reset Button The Reset button allows a user to delete form data and start all over again.
