| Enter Text | You can use HomeSite as a simple
text editor and type HTML tags into your text as you would with Notepad. However you can also
You can select some tags from the main menu and dropdown boxes. You can also select tags from toolbar buttons. You can access many of these tags from the Quick Tab. |

| Remember that HTML will pay no attention to line spacing or tabbing. To make a new sentence start on a new line or to create a double space between paragraphs, you have to apply a tag. | ||||
Create a New Paragraph |
Create a new paragraph (i.e., create a double space) with the Paragraph button on the Quick Tab. |

| Create a Line Break | A line break forces the text to a new line, but
does not start a new paragraph. Create a line break with the BR button on the Quick Tab. |

You can change the style of your
text in several ways.
|

| Add Bold Text | Add the boldface tag with the B button. |
|
||
| Add Italic Text | Add italics with the I button. |
|
||
| Underline Text | Add underlining with the U
button. Note: Do not underline text in a web page document. An underline indicates that text is a hyperlink. |

| Align Text | Change the alignment of text on the page by highlighting it and applying the Center or Align Right buttons on the Quick Tab. |
