Site Plan

This web site will contain links to my resume, biography, site description, and class work. The site will have two additional areas which will focus on gardening and Russia.

The theme to link the disparate parts together will be Autumn. Autumn is important to gardeners since it is the chance to prepare for Spring planting. Autumn is important to Russians because they are very philosophical and it is a time to reflect on the year gone by. Of course, most Russians are avid gardeners out of necessity. So Autumn is very important to Russian gardeners, just like it is to their American counterparts.

The gardening section will have information that is useful to both the novice and experienced gardener. There will be both lawn and garden tips and tricks.

The Russia section will focus on my experiences working in Russia. This section of the site will try to show a side of Russia that most people do not know. The "real" face of Russia, as you can only get to know it by spending many seasons there.

My audience will be largely those who have an interest in one of the two areas. Computer access will be mostly by modem, although I imagine some college students will access it by faster means. So I will make the site compatible with slower modems and machines, to better reach my target audience. Not to mention that I have a slow machine and modem at home....
