Immersive Worlds
Definition Themes and Motifs Key Works and Figures
Definition
Immersive worlds are fantasy worlds that simply exist, with no reference to the real world. They are populated by creatures, both sentient and non-sentient, who exist only in such immersive worlds. These worlds have their own internal logic though the rules by which the world operates have no connection to science as we know it.
