Overview

The Chronicles of Narnia is a series of seven fantasy novels written for children and young adults; they all feature adventures that take place in the alternate world of Narnia, created by and protected by the lion Aslan and featuring Talking Beasts, dwarves, fauns, and other mythical and magical creatures.

Time passes in Narnia at a pace different from time in our world.

Though The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was written first and is the most famous title in the series, it is not the first title chronologically; nor were the other books in the series written in chronological order. The order featured here is the order in which the story takes place.
