Interests: Hakeem Olajuwon (greatest center in NBA history!); College and Professional Basketball and Football. My fondest sports memories:

[1] Houston Rockets at Utah Jazz, Game 5, [Series tied 2-2], 1995. The defending champion Houston Rockets come back from 13 points down to win the series. In his autobiography, Hakeem Olajuwon mentions that Karl Malone gave a stare at him while chuckling as if to say: "Your championship run is about to end here." On top of that, The Delta Center was LOUD, probably the loudest arena in the league at that time! The Rockets were the 6th seed in the Western Conference, and Utah was seeded 3rd (2nd best record in the league). Watch it on youtube!

[2] Houston Rockets at San Antonio Spurs, Game 5, [Series tied 2-2], 1995. Houston wins in a blow-out, Olajuwon notches 42 points on David Robinson. Olajuwon was likely motivated after "The Admiral" won the MVP that year.

[3] Chicago Bulls at Utah Jazz, Game 5, [Series tied 2-2], NBA Finals, 1997. Michael Jordan, playing with flu-like symptoms (Marv Albert must have repeated this at least 849 times during the broadcast), notched 36 points to win the game. The Chicago Bulls would go on to win the NBA Finals that year.

[4] Boston College at Virginia Tech (2007), Thursday Night on ESPN. Boston College was ranked #2 in the country, and Virginia Tech was ranked in the top 10. Playing in the pouring rain, BC came back from a 10-point deficit with 5 minutes remaining to win the game. BC's quarterback, Matt Ryan ("Matty Ice"), went bananas. I was at this game!
