Research Interests

I am interested in refining  monitoring techniques so that long-term monitoring is more feasible for certain herptile species in New England.  I am also interested in quantifying multi-scale amphibian and reptile-habitat relationships and investigating the effects of human-induced habitat alterations and urbanization on populations of these organisms in the northeastern United States. The focus of my work, thus far, has been on Fowler's toad (Bufo fowleri) populations on Cape Cod National Seashore.
