Global Studies & Programs

  • NOVA's diverse student population is always on full display around campus

NOVA benefits from the convergence of many cultures, the richness of its students' and teachers' backgrounds, and a globally focused institutional mission.

Drawing on these resources and those of one of the world's most international cities, NOVA builds global competence through a broad range of learning experiences and welcomes new opportunities to expand them.

Students

More than 180 countries are represented across our campuses. NOVA has a rich ethnic and cultural diversity that includes approximately 2,000 international students in addition to an already diverse local student body, faculty and staff.

There is more than one way to get involved globally at NOVA. How global do you want to go?

Faculty & Staff

NOVA faculty and staff are encouraged to incorporate an international perspective as part of their teaching and professional development.

Opportunities are available for faculty and staff to participate in global initiatives across the campuses and abroad.

Global Connections

NOVA engages with a variety of international education entities that include overseas academic institutions, professional associations, and US and foreign government agencies. These relationships help provide opportunities for faculty, staff and students to integrate global perspectives into their teaching and learning.
