NOVA’s College ESL program has more than forty full-time faculty members and more than seventy part-time faculty members teaching across five of our six campuses.

All of our College ESL teachers have a Master’s degree in TESOL, linguistics or a related field. Many have PhD degrees as well. They have years of experience teaching a range of skills in many settings.

All full-time and part-time teachers in NOVA’s College ESL program hold college rank. This means College ESL faculty are professors, associate professors, assistant professors or instructors.

In addition to teaching, many full-time faculty members help to administer the College ESL program, working as assistant deans in their divisions.
