Military Spouse Career Advancement Account (MyCAA) funds help eligible military spouses pay for career training and certification through approved schools like Career Step. The program is administered by the Department of Defense through the Military OneSource MyCAA website.
Military spouses of active duty and activated guard and reserve service members worldwide can receive up to $6,000 of financial assistance to pay for education in high growth, high demand and portable career.
All NOVA programs are MyCAA approved.
Eligible spouses who are ready to explore portable careers options and develop a career goal and plan should establish a MyCAA Account by visiting the MyCAA website. It is an easy, self-help process. Once the spouse’s profile information is provided, the DoD will verify MyCAA eligibility. If eligible, the spouse’s MyCAA account will be credited with $6,000.
Eligible spouses that have received their verification notice from MyCAA should contact the Woodbridge Business Office.
