Affidavit of Support (I-134)

If your sponsor is a US citizen or US Permanent Resident, he or she may submit an Affidavit of Support form I-134 to demonstrate the ability to support you during your studies. 

If your sponsor chooses to submit the I-134, we do not need to see the entire amount required as stated on the F-1 Financial Statement form.  Based on the documents submitted, OISS staff will make a decision about your ability to meet the financial obligations involved in study at NOVA.

Please submit the following:

  1. Affidavit of Support Form I-134
  2. Copy of last US income tax return filed
  3. Copy of a recent bank statement or other proof of funds listed on the I-134 form (dated within six months of the start date of the course)
