Proper planning for emergencies is essential to minimize the impact on college operations and facilities. The Office of Emergency Management & Safety establishing policies, procedures and responsibilities that are necessary to effectively respond to emergencies.
The mission of the Office of Emergency Management & Safety (OEMS) is to provide guidance, direction and training to the College and its students, faculty, staff and visitors in the prevention, protection, response and recovery from all incidents or events. We also serve as a link to the federal, state and local emergency management and to public safety agencies.
