Conference Services
The Office of Continuing Education and Workforce Development at each campus coordinates requests for use of college facilities and resources for conferences and meetings of corporate and community groups. Among the available services are:
- room rental
- computer laboratory rental
- consulting services
- audio conferencing
- satellite downlink
- teleconferencing
Numerous hotel/motel facilities are availabe in close proximity to all campus locations. Or, if you don't wish to travel, take advantage of our teleconferencing facilities. We can connect you with other sites around the globe!
The Alexandria, Annandale, and Manassas campuses have cultural center buildings that provide state-of-the-art facilities for a variety of entertainment functions.
Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center
Imagine your meeting or event in our new Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center. Located on NOVA's Alexandria Campus, this state of the art facility has meeting space that will accommodate 10-150 people Monday through Saturday. The Center will also offer access to audio visual equipment, Internet connections and kitchen facilities.

Ernst Community Cultural Center
Opened in 1991, the Ernst Community Cultural Center at Northern Virginia Community College, Annandale Campus is a 66,000 square foot rental facility containing a 535 seat, state-of-the-art theater with satellite downlink and video projection capability; an 11,000 square foot gymnasium/exhibition hall, a welcoming Atrium entrance, meeting and training rooms, a two-story art gallery, and a large Forum room suitable for lectures, conferences, receptions, hearings, dinner parties, hearings, and performances expecting smaller audiences. Located just minutes from the Capital Beltway with extensive parking facilities adjacent, the Cultural Center houses three to seven events per day, every day of the year, with a staff eager to provide professional support services to clients.
Facilities are clean, attractive, flexible, and accessible, with outstanding technological features.

Cultural Arts Center - Phase I
Manassas Campus
The Mary Louise Jackson Amphitheater is a part of the Cultural Arts Center on the Manassas Campus, which includes Colgan Theater (120 seats), Howsmon Hall lecture hall (150 seats), multi-purpose room (150 capacity), and outdoor patios. Facilities included in the Cultural Arts Center are available to rent by performing arts organizations, businesses (for meetings or company picnics), civic groups, schools, or churches.
