Business Management and Consulting
The Business Management Institute Offers a wide range of classes and training programs that responds to the needs of the business community, as well as the demographics of a culturally diverse student body. Customized training courses may be developed for area business and delivered on site as well as on a Northern Virginia Community College campus. Career Planning and Job Placement (CareerStart)
The Career Planning and Job Placement Institute is designed to be a catalyst of regional workforce development providing quality career information and job services. The Career Institute is a primary, community-focused resource for career education, training, job placement, and life-long career development serving NVCC's learners and regional employers. Construction and Building Trades
The construction industry represents a diverse workforce. Therefore, the occupations served by the Construction and Building Institute range from heavy equipment operators to interior design professionals.
Whether building roads or housing developments, designing office complexes or backyard gardens, or selling and inspecting properties or projects, the employees tasked with building Northern Virginia will require quality, cost-effective training. ESL (English as a Second Language)
The mission of the ESL Institute is to provide accessible, high quality ESL instruction at all levels, to speakers of other languages in the Washington Metropolitan area.
