Northern Virginia Community College now has Student Services
Centers on each of its six campuses. The centers are designed
to provide individualized service to NVCC students —friendly,
confidential, timely assistance in a variety of ways. This
site is designed to provide those who are assisting students
in the centers with easy-to-use online training.
The training is set up by topics. Each of the training topics
has an accompanying site with online audio/video training;
audio training; training materials, such as PowerPoint
presentations, case studies, and handouts; and resources to
assist those who are working in the Student Services Centers.
Use this site as a resource to assist you with helping
NVCC students.
This site is also password protected. To enter into any of the
pages that are linked from the site's front page, you will need
to enter your LAN username and password that you use to sign on
to your office computer every day. And enter the domain, such as
NVADM or NVCC.
If you are using Windows XP, you must type NVADM or
NVCC before your username,
depending upon what domain you use, and then enter
your password.
