of Institutional Research (OIR)
The
Office of Institutional Research conducts analytical studies and
provides information in support of institutional planning, policy
formulation, and decision making. In addition, the office provides
leadership and support in research related activities to members
of the NVCC community engaged in planning and evaluating the institution's
success in accomplishing its mission.
Office
of College Planning
The
Office of College Planning provides college-wide leadership and
coordination for planning and institutional effectiveness to collect
and report information for decision making and organizational development,
and to provide responsive support for accreditation-related self-study.
Office
of Academic Assessment
The Office of Academic Assessment coordinates on-going evaluation
for the purpose of improving the quality of the college's instructional
programs and ensuring that outcomes achieved are consistent with
the mission and goals of the institution. The focus of academic
assessment is on student learning outcomes and includes the review
of all academic programs that award a degree or certificate as well
as classroom-based assessment and research.
