Media Processing Services provides technical services to campus Learning Resource Services and purchases microcomputer software for all college departments.

We order, receive, pay for, process and ship the books, videos and CDs. We maintain an acquisitions system. We account for library materials funds and prepare college-wide LRS reports. We catalog the library materials and input holding records. We maintain NVCC's online public access catalog and NVCC's holding records on OCLC, the national union catalog. We maintain NVCC's records in NVULS - the Northern Virginia Union List of Serials. We order, receive, pay for and ship microcomputer software for all college departments. We maintain the college license files for software. We monitor the college music licenses.
