Testing
NOVA requires that most students take assessment and placement tests. These tests are not required for admission, but when you enroll for classes they help to ensure you select a course of study in which you will succeed.
Visiting college students currently enrolled at four-year colleges and universities may enroll in most NOVA courses without taking a placement test. Students have to provide specified documentation showing current enrollment or admission to a four-year college or university.
See more detailed information for visiting students.
Full details on assessment and placement testing can be found in the Spring Schedule or on the Testing Center site.
