Year Up, a national non-profit organization was listed in the November 2010 issue of U.S. News & World Report, as one of 10 non-profits tackling serious challenges and changing the world. Year Up is a one-year, intensive training program that provides urban young adults 18-24, with a unique combination of technical and professional skills, college credits, an educational stipend and corporate internship. Year Up offers seven courses in English; information technology essentials, help desk and networking; and leadership development. For more information about Year Up visit www.yearup.org.
