COURSE DESCRIPTION
Increases students' knowledge and enjoyment of the theatre. Considers process, style, organization, written drama and performed drama. Lecture 3 hours per week.
GENERAL COURSE PURPOSE
Provides students with an opportunity to personally experience "theatre."
ENTRY LEVEL COMPETENCIES
Fluency in Standard American English. Recommend proficiency in reading and writing at English 111 level.
COURSE OBJECTIVES/EDUCATIONAL OUTCOMES
Develops an understanding and appreciation of theatre by recognizing every aspect that goes into making a production complete. Students are able to critique objectively and discover that theatre is, above all, a live art form.
