PED 113 - LIFETIME
ACTIVITIES I (I CR.)
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Presents lifetime sports
and activities. Teaches skills and methods of lifetime sports and activities
appropriate to the local season and facilities available. Lecture 1 hour.
Laboratory 1 hour. Total 2 hours per week.
GENERAL COURSE PURPOSE
The general purpose
of this course is to explore lifetime sports and activities through instruction
in basic skills, rules, and strategies.
COURSE OBJECTIVE
Upon completion of
this course the student will be able to:
A. properly execute
the fundamental skills of the sport or activity.
B. display a knowledge
and understanding of equipment selection, safety, rules, terminology and
etiquette.
