MUS 145 - APPLIED MUSIC-KEYBOARD (1-2 CR.)

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Prerequisite is division approval. Instruction in piano, organ, harpsichord, or synthesizer. Studies the standard repertoire. One to two half-hour lessons per week. Four to eight hours practice (laboratory) required.

GENERAL COURSE PURPOSE

This course is designed to provide the student with individual instruction in piano, organ, or harpsichord.

The student will develop musical techniques and musicianship through the study of appropriate exercises and repertoire.
