COURSE DESCRIPTION

Emphasizes the spoken language, stressing fluency and correctness of structure, pronunciation and vocabulary.  Lecture 3 hours per week.

GENERAL COURSE PURPOSE

This course provides further practice in speaking German, with increased emphasis upon developing fluency, increasing vocabulary and improving sentence structure.

ENTRY LEVEL COMPETENCIES

German 111 or equivalent

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this course, students should be able to handle successfully a variety of uncomplicated tasks and social situations. Their sentences should be longer and their grammar and pronunciation much improved.
