COURSE DESCRIPTION
Teaches working drawings and advanced operations in computer aided drafting. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 5 hours per week
GENERAL COURSE PURPOSE
To give students in various technical disciplines additional knowledge and proficiency in using CAD. Drawing creation will be done utilizing more advanced functions.
ENTRY LEVEL COMPETENCIES
Competency in basic CAD. Prerequisite is DRF 201 or equivalent.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
To increase the student's skill in applying CAD to technical drafting, proficiency in using CAD. Advanced drawing commands. Aids inquiries (data base structures); advanced drawing and display modes. Completion of a project relevant to the student's major field.
