COURSE DESCRIPTION
Continues development of skills of understanding, speaking, reading, and writing of Arabic. Classes conducted in Arabic. Lecture 4 hours per week
GENERAL COURSE PURPOSE
The purpose of Intermediate Arabic is to enable the student to become more proficient in speaking and understanding Arabic in a greater variety of situations. The student will learn more complex structures of the Arabic language. The student will also learn to read and write without recourse to translations.
ENTRY LEVEL COMPETENCIES
The prerequisite for this course is ARA 201 - "Intermediate Arabic I" or equivalent.
