COURSE DESCRIPTION
Describes management
options and operational implications for staffing, security, safety, and
treatment. Considers impact of changes in public policy on corrections.
Lecture 3 hours per week.
GENERAL COURSE PURPOSE
The purpose of this
course is to provide the student with detailed knowledge of the concepts,
techniques, and problems in the management and operations of adult and
juvenile correctional facilities.
