ADJ 139 - PRIVATE INVESTIGATORS (4 CR.)

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Instructs the student in investigative techniques, criminal law and procedure, rules of evidence, the techniques and mechanics of arrest. Meets state certification requirements for private investigators licensing. Lecture 4 hours per week.

GENERAL COURSE PURPOSE

The purpose of this course is to provide the student with necessary information regarding basic investigative techniques, arrest procedures and criminal law to meet state requirements for private investigation licensing.
