COURSE DESCRIPTION
Develops writing skills in Spanish through practice and discussion of grammar and style. Lecture 3 hours per week.

GENERAL COURSE PURPOSE
This course is designed to help the student to communicate effectively in writing in Spanish.

ENTRY LEVEL COMPETENCIES
The prerequisite is SPA 202—Intermediate Spanish II or its equivalent.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
The student will be able to communicate effectively in writing through development of advanced grammatical and stylistic writing skills in Spanish

MAJOR TOPICS TO BE COVERED
Selected writing assignments in any field of interest to the student from letter writing and general communication to business correspondence and creative writing.
