COURSE DESCRIPTION
Introduces soccer skills,
techniques, terminology, team play strategy, rules, equipment and safety.
Lecture 1 hour. Laboratory 1 hour. Total 2 hours per week.
GENERAL COURSE PURPOSE
To introduce basic
soccer skills, play, and rules.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of
this course the student will be able to:
A. understand history
and terminology of soccer.
B. understand individual
and team skills and strategy needed in soccer.
C. develop higher
levels of fitness.
D. demonstrate individual
drills.
