COLLEGE-WIDE COURSE CONTENT SUMMARY
AIR
252 - AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS II (4 CR.)
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Provides the student
with a greater understanding of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
both residential and commercial. This course of study covers condensers
water towers and their components. The course also covers the air delivery
systems and its concepts of air balance and delivery, design, and installation
procedures. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 6 hours per week.
GENERAL COURSE PURPOSE
Presents to the student
the principles, practices, and procedures used in the installation and
operation of residential and commercial air conditioning systems.
ENTRY LEVEL COMPETENCIES
Prerequisites: AIR
