My project was to develop mentoring projects for faculty. To that end I have developed
four online items:
- I created a Virtual Watercooler
wiki that allows colleagues from around the Commonwealth to pool their resources,
virtualwatercooler.pbwiki.com/FrontPage.
- I've posted resources for faculty including an NVCC Acronym
Decoder (*.pdf file) with FAQs, and I plan to create another wiki for all faculty to add and to
share resources and suggestions for teaching and for dealing with
various administrative procedures (e.g., travel requests, steps to
apply for promotion),

- I
have organization pages for all new faculty at NOVA on the Blackboard
course management system. There are separate organizations for each
cohort, one for adjunct faculty, and another for all SPD faculty
throughout the state.
- I have another teaching forum on
LinkedIn,
