NOVAConnect: Our Student Information System (SIS)

NOVAConnect is the name of NOVA’s Student Information System (SIS), your central source for accessing all your essential student information at your convenience.

NOVAConnect gives you the ability to complete an array of online tasks including searching and registering for classes, dropping/swapping courses, accessing your records, making payments and managing your personal information.

To access NOVAConnect: the Student Information System (SIS), click on MY NOVA > Log In > click on VCCS SIS: Student Information System > click on Student Center.

To learn how to use the Student Information System, you can check out the tutorials. There is a tutorial for every task you may want to complete in NOVAConnect.

My NOVA Login

Once you feel comfortable with how to use NOVAConnect, log in and get started by clicking My NOVA. You can also find the My NOVA tab at the top of every page of the NOVA website.

Announcements

On Sun., May 19, 2013, between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., engineers will be performing maintenance on the Student Information Services (SIS) application server. As a result, SIS applications will be unavailable during this time. However, all other applications are expected to be available.

Reminders

  • Every semester, you must reset your Preferences through the SIS Student Center to be sure NOVA is in the Institution box and the Term is the current one.
  • Former NOVA students who have not taken credit classes within the last three years need to complete the online application before enrolling in classes.
  • If you decide you do not want a class after you have enrolled, be sure to drop it so you will not be charged.
  • Find out which days you can begin Priority Registration by logging into NOVAConnect.
