3. Find Your Username and Password
Your login is your VCCS email address minus the “@email.vccs.edu”.

LOGIN: Your Partial VCCS Email Address
(If your VCCS email is jdoe4332@email.vccs.edu, then your Centra login is jdoe4332)

PASSWORD: Your Birth Date (MMDDYY)
(For example, January 20, 1974, would be 012074)
You will be asked to change your password. Your Blackboard password is recommended as a substitute.

4. Forgotten Your Password?

If you have forgotten your password, go the eNOVA login page and click on the Forget your password? link next to the Log In button. Enter your email address and click the Email My Password button. The information you need will appear in your email box for the email address that you provided.

5. Access the eNOVA Login Page
Before you begin, close all applications that are open and running on your computer, including your email and any other browser sites. (Leaving applications open can cause the eNOVA software to lock up.)

  • Launch your browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, or Firefox).
  • Type in http://enova.nvcc.edu/ to go to the NOVA eNOVA website. Press Enter on your keyboard and the eNOVA Login page will appear.
  • Enter your Login and Password information, and click Login. (Reminder: Your login is your VCCS email address minus the “@email.vccs.edu” and your password is your birthday - MMDDYY.)

6. Open the My Schedule Page
After logging in, the My Schedule Page will appear. You will see the eNOVA session you are currently scheduled to attend under the Upcoming Tab. To access the event, follow these steps:

  • Click on the blue Attend link, located to the right of the event you are scheduled to attend.
  • You will be prompted to allow an automatic download of the software (Click YES). The software will be downloaded to your computer and you will automatically be taken to the screen for your eNOVA course.
  • If the software does not load, check to see if pop-ups are enabled in your browser.
  • In the lower left corner you will see a yellow Pre Session box. While this is highlighted, you may review the Agenda for the orientation and chat with other students listed in the Participants box. If this box is not visible, your computer task bar at the bottom of the screen may be hiding it.
  • Once the instructor begins the session, the yellow Pre-session box will turn to a red Recording box. At that point, your instructor will guide you through the eNOVA session.
  • To view past sessions, click on the Past tab on the My Schedule page and click on Playback next to the session you wish to view.

IMPORTANT REMINDER! It is very important to read and complete these instructions before your scheduled session to see if your computer is compliant with all eNOVA requirements and to ensure that you are able to connect to the NVCC eNOVA Server.
