Before registering or logging into eMeeting, make sure your system satisfies the following requirements:

Windows System Requirements

• Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows Vista
• Internet Explorer 6.0 SP2, Netscape 9, Firefox 2.0.0.6 or later
• 28.8 kbps or faster Internet connection
• P350+ MHz, 128+ MB Memory
• 800x600 16-bit color display or better

Apple System Requirements

• Mac OS/X 10.4.4, 10.5.x
• Safari 2.0.1, FireFox 2.0.0.6 or later
• Local Area Network or Broadband Connection
• G4 700 MHz PowerPC, 384 MB Memory
• Display color depth: Thousands of colors

Linux System Requirements

• SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop Version 9 or 10
• Red Hat Linux Enterprise Desktop Version 5
• Mozilla FireFox 2.x and 3.x
• P500+MHz, 256+MB Memory
• 1024x768 16-bit color display or better

Internet Voice (VOIP) Requirements:

VOIP audio is not required for events that use telephone for audio. Some events may not require you to have a microphone. Check with your event organizer for specific event requirements.

To Perform a System Check:

1. Go to: http://enova.nvcc.edu
2. DO NOT login. Instead, look for the System Check link in the upper right corner of the window.
3. Click the System Check link.
4. The System Check will lead you through a series of pages that will check your browser, network and audio settings. It will also detect whether or not you need to download the Centra client.

Note: If you are using Windows XP with Service Pack 2, you may still have problems entering a Centra event even if the System Check is successful. If you experience problems and you have Windows XP and Service Pack 2, you can find additional instructions at Centra's Support Site.
