Web Safari is a type of application sharing. Use the Web Safari browser to select, show, and browse websites. The leader sees his/her Web browser page and Appshare toolbars and menus. Participants see the Web page displayed in their eMEETING windows.

Web Safari does not support sound files. If you visit a website that usually includes sound in Web Safari, you will not be able to hear the audio with the Web page.

Use lock to talk or voice activation when using Web Safari or Appshare. Do Not use the ctrl key.

To Use Web Safari:

1. Click the Web Safari button on the toolbar.
   
2. You may see a window asking if you want to share your window. Click Yes.
3. Once you enter Web Safari mode, your screen will undergo a metamorphosis. The controls that run along the top and left side of your screen will move to the right side of your computer screen. The rest of the eMeeting window will disappear. All you will see is the internet browser window. The browser window will look the same as it normally does when you are not in an eMeeting.
4. You will see the bright yellow Appshare Tools menu in the upper right corner of the window that you are sharing.
   
5. Enter the address of the site you wish to visit into the address bar of the browser.

Use Markup Tools

1. If you wish to use the markup tools, click the bright yellow Appshare Tools menu and select Markup Mode.
   
2. Make your annotations. You must turn Mark Up mode OFF in order to click on a link and navigate to another page.

Share a Different Page

If you click on a link that launches a new window, eMEETING will ask you if you want to share the new page. If you would like your participants to see the new window, click Yes. If you do not click Yes, your participants will not see the new window.

Quit Web Safari

To Quit Web Safari, click the bright yellow Appshare Tools menu and select Quit Appshare.
