The Pointer and Personal Arrow Tools

The pointer tool places a red star burst at any one point on the media window. The My Arrow tool inserts an arrow with the name of the person who placed it next the arrow.
To Select the Pointer or Personal Arrow Tool:
- Click the down arrow on the tool button on the toolbar.This will bring up a pop up menu.

- Select the tool you would like to use.
To Use the Pointer and Personal Arrow Tools:
- Click on the tool's button on the toolbar.

- Click anywhere in the whiteboard area to insert the symbol.
The Symbol Tools

To Select the Symbol Tool:
- Click the down arrow on the tool button on the toolbar.This will bring up a pop up menu.

- Select the tool you would like to use.
To use the Symbol Tools:
- Click on the tool's button on the toolbar.

- Click anywhere in the whiteboard area to insert the symbol.
The Highlighter Tools

There are several highlighting tools. The pen-shaped highlighting tool acts like a traditional highlighter. It highlights a line of text and can draw curved and straight lines. The rectangular highlighting tool draws rectangles and can be used to highlight entire paragraphs or larger areas. There is also an oval-shaped highlighter tool.
To Select A Highlighting Tool or Change Color:
- Click the highlighter tool on the toolbar to bring up a pop-up menu.

- Select the tool, color or width that you want.

To Use the Highlighting Tool:
- Click on the tool's button on the toolbar.

- Click and drag your cursor over the area to be highlighted.
Scribble Tool

The scribble tool acts like a virtual pen or pencil. It can draw straight to curved lines.
To Use the Scribble Tool:
- Click the tool's button on the toolbar to select it.

- Click and drag in the whiteboard area.
To change the color of the line, click the line color selection box on the toolbar and choose a new color from the palette that appears:

To change the width of the line, click the line width selection tool
and choose a width from the pop-up menu that appears:

To Select the Line or Arrow Tools:
- Click the Line/Arrow tool button on the toolbar to bring up the pop-up menu.

- Select the tool you want from the menu.

To Use the Line and Arrow Tools:
- Click on the tool's button in the toolbar.
- Click and drag in the whiteboard area.
The Shape Tools

There are four rectangle and oval tools: Filled Rectangle, Filled Oval, Outline-Only Rectangle and Outline-Only Oval.
To Select a Shape Tool:
- Click the Shape Tool button on the toolbar to bring up the pop-up menu.

- Select a shape from the menu.

To Use A Shape Tool:
- Click the tool's button in the toolbar to select it.
- Click and drag your mouse in the whiteboard area to draw the shape.
To change the color of the outline, click the line color selection box on the toolbar and choose a new color from the palette that appears:

To change the width of the line, click the line width selection tool
and choose a width from the pop-up menu that appears: 
To change the fill color, click the fill color selection box
and select a color from the palette that appears.

The Text Tool

To Select the Text Tool
- Click the Text tool button.

- Click and drag a text box on the whiteboard. A cursor will appear in the text box.

Format Text

- Highlight the text you want to format.
- Click the format text button on the toolbar.
- Select the options you want.
Move the Text Box
- Click the Selection Arrow on the the toolbar.
- Click on the text box and drag.
Color, Line, and Line Width Selection Tools

- To select the width of the line used in other markup tools, click the line selection button.

- To select the color used as fill, click the fill color selection box.

- To select the color used for lines and outlines, click the outline color selection box.

Eraser Tool

The eraser tool clears a swath through the whiteboard area, essentially "erasing" any marks you have made in the path of the eraser.
To Use the Eraser Tool:
- Click the eraser on the toolbar to select the tool.

- Click and drag the cursor over the are you wish to erase.
To Clear Markups:
- Click the Clear button on the Markup toolbar.

Markups made to one item in the agenda clear when you move to another item.
