Pregnant and Parenting Student Support
The Office of Pregnant and Parenting Student Support (OPPSS) provides student support services to pregnant women, expectant fathers and newly parenting students, with children up to five years of age, in an effort to increase student success and retention.
Overview
The Support for Pregnant and Parenting Teens and Women Grant allows NOVA to focus on:
- Improving services for pregnant and parenting students at NOVA.
- Improving services for pregnant and parenting students and any student experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault and/or stalking.
- Strengthen the awareness of these challenges through increased knowledge and education at NOVA.
The home base for OPPSS is the MEC Campus, but we service all the NOVA campuses through the use of a mobile van. The van visits each campus up to twice a month, weather and holidays permitting. Please check our calendar.
