Testing Centers

NOVA's Testing Centers provide a broad range of testing and proctoring services. Our customer-oriented Testing Center staff oversees all Basic Skills Assessment tests, English and math placement tests, English as a Second Language (ESL) placement tests, Ability to Benefit tests, Extended Learning Institute (ELI) exams, instructor referred make-up exams and NOVA computer competency tests.

All exams are administered on a walk-in basis; however, please note that office hours vary by campus location. High school or other college partnership programs may arrange for on-site administration of the NOVA College Placement Test for prospective students who are involved in campus-related or high school outreach programs. NOTE: Neither the Arlington Center nor the Reston Center administers Extended Learning Institute (ELI) exams but all campuses do administer ELI exams.
