Virtual Advising

The date for open registration for all students for Fall '12 classes has changed from June 5 to May 8. Register now.

Academic advising is important at NOVA. Academic advising helps you to plan a program that will meet your educational objectives.

If you cannot come to campus to meet with your advisor, Online Virtual Advising is available to you.

What:	Virtual Advisors are available by chat or email.
When:	Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and Monday through Thursday, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
How:	Please have your NOVA Student ID number available.

Important Dates:

Summer 2012

• Registration for all students for Summer 2012 begins on March 27.
• Summer 2012 tuition payment deadline for students enrolling by April 26 is April 27.
• Last day for students to add their names to the Wait List for Summer 2012 12-week session and first 6-week session is May 14.
• Summer 2012 12-week classes begin on May 16.
• Last day to apply for graduation for Summer 2012 is June 1.

Fall 2012

• Academic Advising Week for Fall 2012 is April 2 through 6.
• Priority Registration for continuing students for Fall 2012 begins on April 10 and ends on May 1.
• Open registration for all students for Fall 2012 begins on June 5.
• Fall 2012 tuition payment deadline for students enrolling by July 26 is July 27.
• Last day for students to add their names to the Wait List for Fall 2012 16-week session and first 8-week session is August 29.
• Fall 2012 classes for the 16-week session begin on August 22.
• Last day to apply for graduation for Fall 2012 is October 1.
