Announcement: Military Honor Cords for Commencement Ceremony

NOVA is pleased to continue its symbolic initiative of honoring our graduating active duty military and veteran students. Red, white and blue honor cords are available for graduating active duty, guard/reserve or veteran students who want to wear them during the commencement ceremony in May. The cords signify the appreciation that NOVA feels toward our military and veteran students for their distinguished service and sacrifice. Military and veteran students who are interested in wearing a Military and Veteran Honor Cord can pick one up at any campus Veteran Advisor Office or military installation at Fort Myer, Fort Belvoir Henderson Hall or Quantico. If you have any questions contact the Office of Military Services at militaryservices@nvcc.edu.
