One-on-One Resume Critiques
- Resumes are one of the most important items in the job search. How do you make sure that your experience is accurately reflected on this piece of paper? Consult the experts! Counselors can assist you in making sure that you are giving the impression you intend when you send out your resume.
- Resume critiques are done in the Career Counseling Centers on all campuses by appointment only.
Resume Writing Workshops
- Several campuses offer free resume writing workshops. Visit the Events Calender for times and dates or contact a career counselor.
Resume Writing Resources
- All the NOVA Campus Libraries have career-related books and publications which are available in their reference sections or can be checked out. These include publications such as the Occupational Outlook Handbook, Encyclopedia of Careers, Vocational Guidance, and Professional Careers Series.
- The Annandale Campus has a Career Resource Center, where you will also find a range of career-related materials and publications.
