PROGRAM PLANNING

(3.00 CR.)

(Formerly Program Planning, Organization and Group Leadership) Introduces principles of program planning in the recreation setting. Analyzes participants' needs and demands, as well as social, physical, and psychological characteristics of participation. Explains how to organize and implement programs and special events. Requires a 32-hour service learning project off campus. Lecture 3 hours per week.
