ADVANCED JAZZ CHAMBER ENSEMBLE

Prerequisite: MUS 144 or division approval. Consists of performance of advanced repertoire in a jazz small group. Studies ensemble techniques, improvisation, and arranging. Continues Jazz Ensemble 100 level with additional leadership responsibilities. Completion of Jazz Chamber Ensemble. May be repeated for credit. Laboratory/Rehearsal 3 hours per week.
