EDITING AND MIXDOWN TECHNIQUES

Prerequisite is completion of 100 level recording technology certificate courses. Introduces the theories and practice of digital editing and mixdown techniques. Provides the skills necessary to edit, mixdown, externally reprocess, and otherwise manipulate multi-track original recordings into finished master recordings. Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 4 hours per week.
