BASIC TRAUMA LIFE SUPPORT

Offers instruction for students in current topics of care for trauma patients and offers certification as a Basic Trauma Life Support Provider (BTLS) as defined by the American College of Emergency Physicians. Prerequisites: Current certification/ licensure as an EMS provider or other allied healthcare provider. Lecture 1 hour per week.
